What a week in the South — we plunged into our first freezing nights, so I hustled a few tender plants indoors to overwinter them. Then, as if to remind us of the moodiness of this season, we were gifted with a stretch of mild, sunny fall days. It’s that wonderfully unpredictable time of year when we seem to get all four seasons in just a few days.
I’m deep in decorating mode, pulling together Christmas touches and making plans for the big reveal. Between fluffing garlands and arranging ornaments, I’ve been assembling gift guides and wrapping early arrivals. Getting a head start lets December feel slow, intentional, and full of family moments — and I love that.
