One of the most common questions I get is “What is the paint color in that room?” I love sharing the answers because these are colors I truly recommend — timeless shades that work in many homes.
A well-chosen paint color can transform how you feel in a space. Below I’ve gathered the paint colors used throughout my home so you can see what pairs well together and find a shade you love.

Living Room & Entry Way — Revere Pewter (Benjamin Moore)
The living room and entryway are painted Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore. My living room features board and batten trim painted Simply White (Benjamin Moore), with the Revere Pewter on the main walls. Revere Pewter is a highly popular transitional neutral: a warm-toned gray with subtle taupe undertones that pairs well with both warm and cool palettes.
If you’re exploring neutral grays, other great options include Repose Gray and Mindful Gray from Sherwin-Williams, and Edgecomb Gray from Benjamin Moore.

Dining Room — Wythe Blue (Benjamin Moore)
The dining room is painted Wythe Blue by Benjamin Moore. I chose this sophisticated blue-green because it creates a striking first impression from the entry and coordinates beautifully with the adjacent Revere Pewter.
Kitchen — Sea Salt (Sherwin-Williams)
The kitchen originally had a darker blue-green called Stratton Blue, but after painting the cabinets Simply White (Benjamin Moore) I opted for a lighter, fresher wall color. I compared a couple of options and chose Sea Salt by Sherwin-Williams for its soft green-blue tone that complements the Revere Pewter nearby.
Master Bedroom — Palmetto Gray (Porter Paints)
The master bedroom is painted Palmetto Gray by Porter Paints, a muted gray-blue-green. This was one of the first rooms we painted and remains a favorite. Note: this specific shade has been discontinued, but Restoration Hardware’s Silver Sage is a close alternative. In photos the color sometimes appears bluer than it looks in person, where it reads slightly more muted and green-gray.
Nursery — Lido Green (Benjamin Moore)
The baby girl’s nursery is painted Lido Green by Benjamin Moore. I selected the palette to match artwork above the crib; Lido Green leans more toward green than other mint or aqua shades in the house and creates a fresh, playful backdrop for a nursery.
Girl’s Room — Cream Puff (Benjamin Moore)
My older daughter’s room is painted Cream Puff by Benjamin Moore. It’s a soft, pale pink that feels sweet without being overwhelming. The decor has changed over time, but the paint color has remained a constant favorite.
Guest Bathroom — Oyster Pearl (Clark+Kensington)
The guest bathroom is painted Oyster Pearl from Clark+Kensington, a cool gray. I like the shade, but in this space the surrounding gray cabinetry and hallway make the bathroom feel a bit muted — I’m considering repainting it Sea Salt to brighten the room.
Office & Guest Room — Simply White (Benjamin Moore)
My office and guest room walls are Simply White by Benjamin Moore. This creamy white is neutral without reading yellow and provides a clean backdrop so colorful decor and artwork stand out.
Laundry Room — Wythe Blue (tweaked)
Our walk-through laundry room connects to the garage and gets no natural light, so I wanted a bright, cheerful color. I mixed leftover Wythe Blue with white to lighten it; the result is closest to Palladian Blue by Benjamin Moore and keeps the space feeling fresh as you pass through multiple times a day.

A designer once advised that it’s fine to paint your home in variations of a color you love — I took that to heart and built a whole-home palette around those tones.
