Hydrangea Decor: Summer Tablescapes and Room Refreshes

Happy weekend! We’re settled into our summer rhythm and soaking up all the nostalgic ’90s vibes: bike rides to the pool, afternoons with coloring books, days at summer camp, cheering at swim meets, and plenty of time with friends. Summer has a wonderful way of pulling us away from screens and into real-life fun — long, sunny days filled with laughter, activity, and memory-making.

My husband is coaching our local summer swim team this year. It’s been busy and rewarding, and the team even won its first meet last week, which was such a thrill for everyone involved.

We’ve also embraced the grown-up coloring trend this season. Fancy markers and detailed coloring books have become an easy, screen-free evening activity — soothing to do while watching a movie and a great way to unwind. I ordered these markers and a few coloring books, and my 10-year-old has been coloring non-stop since they arrived. I may be enjoying the break from screens as much as she is.
