Happy weekend! We’ve just wrapped our first full week of the new school year and are settling back into routines—homework, carpools, and the steady rhythm of weekdays. Weeknights feel busier again, but we’ve been enjoying a few relaxed weekends this month before the full pace of fall activities arrives.
For now, we’re taking advantage of these quieter days. There are mountain trips, football games, and several sports practices on the calendar soon, so I’m soaking up this calm while I can. I’ve also used the spare hours to write and plan a few new posts I’m excited to share.
One upcoming post is about the sterling silver pieces I inherited from my grandmother and the small but meaningful shift I made: choosing to use and enjoy them now instead of saving them for “someday.” I’ve been learning about their history and patina, experimenting with ways to display and incorporate them into everyday life, and finding joy in ordinary moments when these pieces are part of our table and home. I hope to publish that post within the next week and can’t wait to share it with you.
