My Favorite Home Organization Products for Every Room

I use these three favorite organizing products throughout my home. You’ll find them in the kitchen, bathrooms, office and more—simple, versatile solutions that make daily life easier.

If you’ve followed along for a while, you know I’m a big fan of decluttering and practical organizing. A few years ago I tackled the task of decluttering and organizing our entire house and shared the process. Now, each year I focus on a few key areas to refresh and simplify our spaces.

This year I’ve already decluttered a linen closet and I’m sharing a garage organization makeover soon. In the meantime, here are a few low-effort ideas to get you started—small steps that make a big difference.

Small areas like closets and the space under sinks are my favorite places to start. A handful of narrow bins, a lazy susan, and a set of drawer dividers can transform crowded shelves into orderly, usable storage.

If you’ve watched “Get Organized with The Home Edit” on Netflix, you’ll recognize Clea and Joanna’s signature approach: simple, chic, and highly functional. They’ve launched an accessible line at Walmart, and the collection includes clear, versatile pieces that fit in almost every room.

My Top 3 Favorite Organizing Products

1. The Shelf “Can Riser”

I call these “can risers” because they’re perfect for arranging cans and bottles so you can see what’s stored at the back of a shelf. In the pantry they make canned goods, sauces, and small bottles easy to locate at a glance. They also work well in bathroom cabinets for hair products and skincare, or under sinks to keep cleaning bottles neatly tiered. The risers maximize vertical space and help you use the entire shelf efficiently.

2. The Lazy Susan (Turntable)

Turntables are a go-to for me. In the pantry they corral oils, vinegars, and sweeteners, making it simple to spin and grab what you need. Under the kitchen sink they keep dish soaps, brushes, and bottles organized and accessible without having to dig around. I also keep a small one under the bathroom sink for round bottles and hair products. The ability to rotate items into view prevents hidden clutter and saves time.

3. Drawer Dividers

Drawer dividers are one of the easiest habits to adopt. I use them in kitchen drawers for utensils and gadgets, in bathroom drawers to keep makeup and tools sorted, and in my office for pens, chargers, and small supplies. Modular dividers prevent items from shifting and turning a chaotic drawer into a tidy, functional space.

These three items are a great starting point for any organizing project. They’re affordable, versatile, and instantly reduce visual clutter while improving functionality. If you had to pick only three organizing tools, which would you choose? Share your top picks in the comments—I’d love to hear what works for you.
