Traditional Christmas Kitchen Decor: Last-Minute Cozy Styling

It’s finally the week before Christmas — a time many of us hope to slow down, enjoy family, and savor the season. If you still have last-minute gifts to buy, I shared some of my favorite ideas on my Stocking Stuffer Gift Guide, most of which will still arrive in time for the holiday.

We also have a family birthday this week, so there’s a little extra celebration on the calendar. I’m grateful I started wrapping and shopping early this year; that’s left me mostly prepared and able to focus now on the menu. On Christmas morning we love homemade favorites like cinnamon rolls and sausage balls. What traditions does your family keep for the holiday morning?

If you need last-minute inspiration for decorating, entertaining, or simply making the most of these final days before Christmas, this week’s Home Style Saturday #483 is full of fresh ideas. Explore a designer showhouse dressed for the holidays, practical and meaningful ways to embrace the week before Christmas, quick decorating solutions, and tips for transitioning from festive Christmas decor to cozy winter styling.
