This “Be Joyful Always” free printable is both uplifting and beautiful—the perfect way to brighten your home this season.
Printables are one of the most affordable and versatile ways to refresh your décor for the season. A single printable can change the mood of a room in minutes, and you can print one at home, frame it, and enjoy a fresh look without a big investment.

I recently made a wooden fall sign for my mantel and loved the result, so I recreated the look as a printable for you. I styled some of my favorite fall items on a wooden backdrop, photographed the scene, and added the encouraging verse from 1 Thessalonians to the image. The design is simple, warm, and meant to complement cozy seasonal décor.

If you don’t have time to craft a sign from wood, this printable gives you a similar look and feeling—ready to download and print. It’s designed to bring a touch of faith-inspired warmth to your mantel, entryway, kitchen, or any wall that could use a little seasonal cheer.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Tips for Printing a Free Printable
Most home printers use standard letter-size paper (8.5 × 11 inches). Many commonly available frames use an 8 × 10 inch opening, so you may see a bit of white border around an 8 × 10 image when printed on letter paper. To make framing as easy as possible, these printables were designed to fit an 8 × 10 display area so they should print at the correct size with minimal adjustments.
Here are a few practical tips to get the best result:
- Choose a bright white, heavyweight card stock for durability and a crisp look. Card stock gives the image more presence in a frame and holds up better over time than standard copier paper.
- When printing, check your printer settings and choose “actual size” or 100% scaling if available. If your printer defaults to “fit to page,” the image may be slightly scaled down or cropped.
- If you prefer a border-free edge and your printer supports borderless printing, use that option. If not, trimming the white edges with a paper trimmer or craft knife will give a clean professional edge.
- Use a small paper trimmer or straightedge and craft knife to trim the print to exact dimensions. Clean, sharp edges make the framed piece look intentional and polished.
- Consider printing on matte card stock for a classic look, or on a subtle textured paper for more of a handmade feel. Avoid glossy paper if you’re framing under glass in a bright spot to reduce glare.
- Frame the print using an 8×10 frame or use a mat in a larger frame to create a layered look. A neutral mat and frame let the artwork and typography stand out in any room.

Beyond the mantel, these printables work well in a gallery wall, leaned on a shelf, or tucked into a vignette with seasonal decor. I also organized a group of fellow bloggers who are sharing their own free fall printables, so you can collect a variety of designs for different rooms and styles.
