It’s officially fall, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome cooler mornings, warm drinks, and soup season. One of my favorite autumn rituals is loading the crock pot with simple ingredients and letting it do the work—dinner is ready with almost no effort, and the house smells like comfort.
Around the house I’ve added a few subtle autumn touches. Over the years I tend toward less decor, but the right pieces still make a big difference. My favorite fall throw pillows are an easy way to introduce texture and seasonal color without overwhelming a room. They instantly create a cozy, seasonal vibe that feels effortless and inviting.
This week I also started a small refresh in the bedroom with a fresh paint color. There’s still more to do—new textiles and finishing touches will come later—but my goal was to get the walls painted before the busy holiday season arrives. A new wall color can completely shift the mood of a room and provide a calm backdrop for autumn layers and lighting.
