Most-Read Posts of 2021

It’s always fun to look back and see which posts you loved most over the past year. Here are your favorite Turquoise Home posts of 2021!

I enjoy reviewing the year’s content to discover which new posts resonated with you. The most popular posts reveal what readers want more of—whether that’s practical Decorating 101 guidance, paint color recommendations, or inspiring room transformations. Your feedback helps shape what I share in the year ahead.

Most Popular Posts of 2021

Over the past few years I’ve focused on two main goals:

  • Provide clear, approachable Decorating 101 advice for everyday homeowners.
  • Share more posts about popular paint colors and how to use them in your home.

This was our second full year in the new house, which allowed me to start and finish several makeovers and refine how we use each room. I published more Decorating 101 content in 2020 and continued that focus into 2021, with even more practical posts planned for the year ahead.

I always recommend beginning any decorating project by choosing a cohesive whole-house color palette, and I demonstrated that approach throughout my paint-color posts. It’s no surprise that paint and color guides were among the posts you viewed most.
