Hi friends! Happy Friday — I’m excited to share my spring mantel with you. Spring is one of my favorite seasons because it invites lighter colors, fresh blooms, and natural elements into the home. This year I embraced a pink-and-turquoise palette, layered with florals and textured accents to make the mantel feel cheerful and welcoming. If you love seasonal decorating too, maybe bringing spring inside will help the weather catch up with our mood!
Be sure to stay tuned: at the end I’ve included other spring projects and posts you might enjoy as part of the Ringing in Spring Home Tour.
Last year I kept my mantel very simple, but this season I had fun using more color and pattern. The mix of turquoise, soft pinks, and natural tones creates a fresh, balanced look — playful without feeling cluttered. I layered vases and containers at different heights, added faux florals for lasting color, and sprinkled in small seasonal touches like a nest with eggs and a rustic “grow” box to reinforce the spring theme.
Enjoy the photos of the mantel and surrounding vignette!

I also refreshed the table beneath my gallery wall. I moved the watering can into view because I absolutely love its color and shape — it feels so springy. I found this style in the gardening aisle at Target, and it instantly brightened the vignette.

The lamp shade was an item I already owned but didn’t love — so I recovered it with fabric scraps and other supplies I had on hand. It’s amazing how a little fabric and a few simple steps can transform a lamp. I’ll share the full tutorial for recovering a lampshade on Monday so you can try it yourself.

Tips for Styling a Spring Mantel
– Start with a neutral backdrop and layer in one or two accent colors—here I used turquoise and soft pink for a bright, cohesive look.
– Vary heights and textures: combine tall vases, lower boxes or crates, and small decorative objects to create visual interest.
– Mix real and faux florals to keep things fresh-looking without daily maintenance.
– Use natural elements such as nests, branches, or succulents to add an organic feel.
– Reuse what you already own: a recovered lampshade or repurposed container can make a big impact for little cost.
