Christmas Coffee Bar Ideas, Cozy Bedroom Ideas and Holiday Decor

Can you believe Christmas is less than two weeks away? December always seems to accelerate, and if you still have a few names left on your gift list, I’ve updated both my girls’ gift guide and my men’s gift guide. The good news: many of these selections still arrive in time for the holiday, so you can breathe a little easier as you finish shopping.

We’re savoring every bit of the season here, even amid the busyness. This weekend includes Christmas light displays, a cookie swap, and—somewhat unusually—high school homecoming. The homecoming was postponed from October after a community tragedy, so holding it now, just before the holidays, feels poignant and meaningful. With both of our girls’ birthdays falling close to Christmas, the calendar is full in the most wonderful way. I’m looking forward to the girls being off school this week so we can slow down, stay home together, and enjoy simple holiday moments as a family.

Welcome to Home Style Saturday #482, your weekly dose of seasonal home inspiration. This edition offers ideas for creating a festive Christmas coffee bar, elegant blue-and-silver holiday decorating, cozy bedroom transformations for the holidays, a chic dining room tablescape, and a tour of Georgia’s historic Old Governor’s Mansion dressed for the season. Brew a cup of coffee and enjoy this curated collection of home and holiday styling ideas.
