Finally, I added a solid brass pineapple door knocker for a classic, welcoming detail. It offers visual interest and balances the look when the door is bare of seasonal decor.
This pared-back, classic arrangement is easy to dress up for seasons—add a wreath in spring or garland at the holidays—and keeps the front porch looking polished year-round. I’m very happy with the mini makeover and how it improved the home’s curb appeal.
As a final note, the lawn recovery truly completed the transformation. A healthy lawn combined with clean paint, purposeful lighting and balanced planters elevates the entire curb appeal of a home.
