Happy weekend! I spent last weekend working outdoors to get a head start on our backyard projects. We (mostly my husband) cleared the grass that had crept into our fire pit, I pressure-washed an old swing that we moved into the yard, and I pulled weeds from a flower bed. By the end of it my body ached, but it felt so rewarding to see visible progress—and this week’s warmer weather made enjoying the results even sweeter.
I’m counting down the days until our frost-free date so I can start planting flowers. There’s something about fresh blooms that instantly lifts a space. I’ve also been looking at new gardening tools and supplies—some of my favorites are on sale right now, which makes me even more excited to dig in.
