This turquoise Thanksgiving tablescape is filled with vibrant pops of color that make entertaining for the holiday both easy and beautiful.
Hi friends! I’m excited to share my Thanksgiving tablescape with a fresh turquoise palette paired with warm fall hues. This setup shows how simple it can be to create a memorable table for your family gathering without overcomplicating things.

I also created a small printable of conversation starters to keep the dinner table lively and focused on gratitude. It’s a fun way to get to know your guests better and could become a new Thanksgiving tradition.

I’ve never created a huge, formal Thanksgiving tablescape before. I don’t usually host Thanksgiving at my house, but I often borrow decor for my mom’s table. This year I decided to put together an arrangement that’s colorful, welcoming, and easy to assemble.

I’ll probably recreate the floral element for our table this year because the flowers add so much life and color. I picked them up locally while shopping for the highlight of this tablescape—my turquoise goblets.
These stunning turquoise goblets are the centerpiece of the look. They come from the new Pioneer Woman collection at Walmart, and they’re both charming and sturdy. I debated between tumblers and goblets and chose goblets because they feel special and nostalgic—reminding me of the colored glasses my grandparents used to have.

Another favorite element is the chunky, white distressed candle holders I found. They bring a tactile, cozy feel to the table and add height and balance among the pumpkins and flowers. If you can’t find the exact ones, look for distressed, chunky holders in a neutral finish to get a similar look.

While shopping for a DIY plate rack, I wandered through the seasonal aisles and found these chunky candle holders. They were irresistible and fit the tablescape perfectly. Sometimes the best decor finds happen when you’re not even looking for them!

Most of the other pieces were already in my home. I used mason jars as candle holders for tapered candles and filled them with Epsom salts to hold the candles upright. The same jars doubled as simple vases for the flowers—practical and pretty.

My everyday white dishes are a simple beaded collection that pairs well with colorful accents. They’re durable and neutral, which allows the turquoise, orange, and white elements to stand out without competing with the plates.

I picked up blue-green Cinderella pumpkins and small white pumpkins at a local pumpkin patch in early October, and I’m glad they’ve held up for this tablescape. The blue-green and white combination feels fresh and unexpected for fall.
A burlap runner anchors the design and gives a rustic backdrop for the colorful pieces. I keep a neutral runner like this on hand because it works with many different table looks and makes layering simple.

When it’s time to eat, remove any tall centerpieces that block conversation and set up a buffet in the kitchen to keep the table clutter-free. That makes it easy for guests to talk, pass dishes, and enjoy the meal together.

I made leaf-shaped printable conversation starters with questions you can ask during the meal—light prompts like “What’s your favorite holiday tradition?” and reflective ones like “How can you pay it forward this season?” These prompts help the table stay centered on gratitude while keeping conversation engaging.
Stay tuned for the printable conversation starters—I’ll have them ready to use for your Thanksgiving meal. They’re a small touch that can make your gathering more meaningful and fun.
