Thanksgiving Table Ideas and Holiday Prep Tips for Entryways

We had an absolutely wonderful Halloween night. The cool, dry weather and a half day of school for the kids—plus the fun of it falling on a Friday—made for a perfect evening of trick-or-treating. My younger daughter and I walked the neighborhood with the dog while she collected an impressive haul of candy (we’ll be donating most of it). I love how this season brings neighbors together and creates sweet memories.

With the calendar now turned to November, it’s truly all hands on deck for the holidays. I’m excited to begin decorating this weekend and will be sharing my 2025 Christmas theme soon. If you enjoy non-traditional holiday decor, be sure to revisit last year’s creative tree for fresh ideas. This time of year is ideal for early planning—decorating, organizing supplies, and setting a timeline can make the season calmer and more joyful.
